It started with a mix of digital marketing, home-grown cannabis and an early interest in the CBD industry. In 2017, Wes Cude met others working in cannabis and CBD at a conference in Chiang Mai, which eventually led to the launch of The CBD Supplier.

The business grew into a marketplace selling CBD products across the UK and Europe, alongside a large library of content covering CBD, cannabis, strains, growing and the wider industry.

In 2024, we exited the business. 

Two years later, the opportunity arose to buy back the original domain and content. Rather than simply relaunch The CBD Supplier, we decided to take it in a new direction.

That became Black Hash.

Today, Black Hash focuses on relevant cannabis content across some of the world’s most interesting markets, including the US, Thailand, the UK, and Europe. We cover cannabis culture, laws, strains, growing and the changing CBD industry, with plans to move back into products over the coming 12 months.
